A foundational principle of all things Orphan Wisdom has been that money should not be the sole reason that those who really want to attend an event can’t do so. This remains important to us. Your contribution, as a Founding Patron of the Scriptorium, helps make that possible.
Consider participating in our fundraiser to:
- Provide funding for the development of The Scriptorium
- Subsidize the scribes participating in the in-person Boreal Sessions
- Help to carry ongoing administrative costs

Private Founding Patron Boreal Session
August 13-17
Fund a private in-person Boreal Session at Orphan Wisdom alongside 15 of your chosen friends. You'll be well fed from our orchards and garden. You also get to choose an exclusive recording from the vault which you and your friends will hear and transcribe.

Will I receive a tax receipt for my contribution?
No. Donations made in the US and Canada only receive tax receipts when made to a registered charity ( 501.c(3) in US). As this is a contribution and Orphan Wisdom / Iron God of Mercy is a Canadian private corporation, there are no tax receipts available.
Is my contribution made in Canadian or US Dollars?
Contributions can be made in CAD dollars by Canadian participants. International participants are welcome to make a contribution in US Dollars.
How will I know that my contribution has been received?
Upon completion of your contribution, you should receive an automatic email to your inbox confirming your contribution.
What is my contribution supporting, more specifically?
- Provide funding for the development of The Scriptorium
- Subsidize the scribes participating in the in-person Boreal Sessions
- Help ongoing administrative costs.
- Your financial contribution provides an opportunity for those who could not otherwise participate.
When will I receive my gift of gratitude that has been offered to me for my financial contribution to The Scriptorium?
We are committed to ensuring that these are sent in a timely manner, ideally within a few weeks of receiving your contribution. From there, it is difficult to assess how long delivery will take, as this will largely be influenced by where you are located. Nathalie will be managing the packing and mailing and will endeavour to be prompt.
Can I make a contribution without occurring an item from the wave?
Yes, all contributions are welcome.
Can I make more than one financial contribution?
Yes, we would be grateful if that was possible for you.
Notes on shipping:
Unless noted, postage is included with each item. For the larger items, shipping will need to be determined based on the location of the recipient, and will be added to the cost of the item.
Is membership to the scriptorium included in my Founding Patron purchase/gift?
No. Lineage Membership is available separately. (Other than the Private Founding Patron Boreal Session).
